It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of former Principal magistrate Hon. Patrick Wambugu Mwangi born in Gachuiro, Mathira Sub County and resident of Makindu-Kiu area, which occurred on 27/6/2026 after a short illness.
He was the managing partner in P.M.Wambugu & Associates Advocates in Kwale Town.
He was the beloved husband of Annastacia Singi Wambugu of A. K. Singi & Company Advocates;
He was son of Peter Mwangi Muraguri and Susan Nyathogora Mwangi.
He was son in law of Francis Singi Mutie and Esther Nzula Singi; brother of Maina, Muraguri (TSC), Macharia, Wanjohi, Wanjira, Waithiegeni, Muraya, Wanjiku and Mundia.
He was brother in law of Mutinda, Mutiso, Njoki, Nyokabi, Wanjiku, Nderitu, Githinji, Grace Njoki, Gachau, Jackline, Christine, a cousin and uncle to many.
Daily meetings are happening at his residence in Makindu-Kiu area and Gatitu restaurant-Kwale.
The cortege leaves Kibwezi Funeral Home on 10/7/2026 at 8:30am for burial at his home in Makindu town, Kiu Village.
