Morris Odulwa Lukoba

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Morris Odulwa Lukoba which happened on 30th June 2026.

He was the son of the late Mzee Ibrahim Lukoba Odulwa and Mama Monica Auma Lukoba.

He was step son of the late Melissa Nafula Lukoba and Mama Antonina Nabwire Lukoba. He was husband of Phoebe Ayiemba, Fanice Odulwa and Emily Anyanga Odulwa.

Loving father of Dr. Kenneth Kaunda Odulwa, the late Patrick Ouma, Phillip Nyongesa, Rodgers Wabwire, Eunis Odulwa, Josephine Odulwa, Zipporah Odulwa, Michael Odulwa (DCC), Rahab Odulwa (Ministry of Health), Emmanuel Odulwa, Damaris Odulwa, Manasseh Odulwa (DTB), David Ochami, Erick Okumbo (RSM) and Leah Asiko.

He was father in-law of Julita Oyugi (Principal), Elizabeth Wanyonyi (State House), Sarah Likunda, Jane, Muturi, Evans, Isaac Mbuthia and Leonard Kirui.

He was son in-law of the late Mabinda Okonda and Norah Kuya; the late Earnest Akali and Margaret Omucheni and the late Samuel Chitere Kadima and Norah Makokha.

He was brother of the late George Omoyi, late Peter Okuku, Janet Muyere, late Bob Maloba, late Henry Lukoba, Maxmillia Nambudie, Hannington Barasa, Patrick Lukoba, Nalaka, Ajaimbo, Narotso, Dickson Wandera, Nabwire, Thomas Mudogo, Late Wesonga, Khadudu, Nekesa, late Barasa, late Adikinyi and late Mugeni among others.

Grandfather of Monica, Clarence, Ike, Cavin, Edger, Morris, Phanis, Patrick, Oliver, Titus, Velma, Blair, Morris, Addah, Antonina, Terry, Teddy, Tallia, Tawor, Muchoki, Njambi, Baraka, Emily, Myles, Ivanna, Gigg, Lewis, Stephanie, Jesse, Fanis, Desma and eight great grandchildren.

He was uncle of the Omoyis, the Okukus, the Muyeres, the Malobas, the Wafulas, the Njoroges, Mwiras, among others.

Daily prayers and planning meetings are ongoing and held every evening at his Buloma residence. The body lies at Francis Funeral Home in Busia.

The burial service will be held on 18th July 2026 at his home in Buloma, Nasira Sub location, Busibwabo location Busia County.

He touched many lives and will be dearly missed by family, friends and the community.
