It is with humble acceptance and deep gratitude to our Heavenly Father God that we announce the promotion to glory of Winny Wamaitha Kamande on June 19, 2026.
Beloved wife of the late Peter Ng’ang’a Kamande.
Loving mother of David Kamande, Esther Gathoni Chiara, Dr. Mary Waihira Kamande-Musyimi, and Dr. Joyce Wanjiru Kamande.
Daughter of the late Nathaniel Mburu Githumbi and the late Mary Waihira Mburu. Mother-in-law of John Wasonga, Dr. Harrison Musyimi, and Jennifer Kamande.
Cherished grandmother of Ashonti Nyokabi, Desiree Wamai tha, Kaiya Gathoni, Nathan Mwendwa, Aiden Ng’ang’a, Abigail Akoth, Emmett Mburu, Jonah Muathime, Jonathan Wasonga, and Emmanuella Agwethi and a proud great-grandmother to Amari Kamande.
Sister of Nancy Njeri, Pastor Janet Wanjiku, the late Margaret Wanjiru, Danson Githumbi, the late Fredrick Gichuhi, the late Simon Gathiuni, and the late Beatrice Njoki. Beloved aunt, cousin, mentor, and friend to many and whose generosity, wisdom, unwavering faith, and compassionate spirit touched countless lives. Her home was always open, her counsel freely given, and her love extended far beyond her immediate family.
The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home at 7:00 a.m. on July 17, 2026 for the funeral service at CITAM Valley Road at 9:00 a.m.
Thereafter, the burial service will take place at her final resting place in Kamwangi, Gatundu North. For contributions towards funeral expenses:
