It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of John Maina Muriithi on 21st June 2026, after a long illness bravely borne.
Formerly of KPMG Kenya, he was the beloved son of the late Henry Henerico Muriithi Mugambi and the late Mary Wanjiku Muriithi.
He was a loving brother of the late Charles Nderitu, the late Francis Muchiri, the late Wangari, the late Njoki, Esther Wairimu, the late Joseph Mwangi and the late James Wachira.
He was the devoted husband of Beatrice Wairimu Muriithi and a cherished father of Mary, Evelyn & Gitau and Annette.
He was a proud grandfather of Kito and Taji and a dear uncle to many.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence in Buruburu from 4.00 p.m. onwards.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Monday, 29th June 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
The cortège will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Thika Road, on Tuesday, 30th June 2026 at 7:00 a.m. for the final service at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, Honi, and after for interment at his home in Mweiga, Kieni West constituency, Nyeri County.
