It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of George Otieno Osur, who left us on 20th May 2026.

George was a devoted family man who faithfully served in the National Police Service before his retirement.

His life was marked by love, strength, dedication, and a commitment to serving both his family and his country.

He was a source of guidance, support, and unity within his family, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

He was the beloved son of Rosa Aoko Munywere and the late Vitalis Munywere Osur.

He is survived by: Wife: Jane Matilda Oyuga. Children: Bruce Oduor Otieno, Quinne Leticia Anyango, Pinky Lulu Atieno, Clarence Oyuga Gabriel.

Brothers and Sisters: the late Florence Adhiambo, Lilian Munywere, Peter Juma, Joyce Munywere, William Ochieng, Eric Mambo, Raymond Osur, Agnes Osur.

In-Laws: Joy, Christine, Angela, Moses, Stella, Idaya, Alex, Ralph, Mzitto, Barry, Nancy, Wycliffe. Nephews: Teddy, Sidney, Nigel, Fidel, Rogers, Madox, Mikel, Zadock, Zion, Eugene, Jyan, Riquelme, Cedrick, Richard.

Nieces: Sakina, Fetima, Chloe, Natalie,Tracy, Junell.

George will be remembered for his love for family, his strength of character, and the lasting impact he had on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Family and friends are invited to join in honouring his life and bidding him a peaceful farewell on 6th June 2026 at Alego, Ndere, Siaya County.
