We regret to announce the passing to glory of Dr. Mary Muringe Gitau on 8th May 2026.
She was the wife of the late Dr. Michie Gitau and loving mother of Njeri Gitau, the late Sospeter Gitau, and Kamuiru Gatheru Gitau.
She was the daughter of the late Habel Gatheru and the late Lydia Wamuyu.
She was sister of the late Nicholas John Waigi, the late Juliet Wanjiru, Anderson Ndang’a, the late Jane Wanjugu, Grace Nyaguthii, and Rose Wacheke.
She was daughter-in-law of the late Sospeter Gitau and the late Rachel Njeri. She was a cousin and aunt to many.
Funeral arrangement meetings are being held at the family home in Kiarithaini from 4.00 p.m., and at All Saints Cathedral (Wednesday – Friday) from 5.30 p.m.
The memorial service will be held on Sunday, 17th May 2026 at 4.00 p.m. at PCEA Umoja Church.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 19th May 2026 at the graveside at the family home in Kiarithaini Village.
