We are saddened to announce the death of Mama Tereza Mmbone Chogo that occurred on the 21st of April 2026 while undergoing treatment at Kanika Hospital in Kisumu.
Mama Tereza Mmbone was the wife of the late Pastor Levi Chogo Malongo of Chambaya Village, Magui Sub-location, Lugaga Location,Vihiga Sub-county, Vihiga County.
She was the daughter of the late Samson Nyabari and the late Mama Ziripah Vihenda.
She was a sister of Javan Akivaga and Ronika Kageha.
She was the mother of Herbert and Jane Omozo, Hudson and Hannah Obiri, Hellen and Abinizah Enonda, Pamela and Hesbon Yida, Hesbon and Lydia Senelwa, the late Tom and Elizabeth Ludwaro, Obedi and Salome Chunguli, Salome and Teddy Luvizia, Lawrence and Grace Chogo, the late Emmanuel Asiema; and Caroline Muhonja and Boniface Miseda.
She leaves behind 45 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren.
The burial ceremony will take place on Saturday 9th of May 2026 at Igakala Primary School and later she will be laid to rest at her home in Chambaya Village.
Mama Tereza has fought a good fight and won the race.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
