It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Pst. John Lang’at of AIC Lessos, Nandi County, which occurred on 29th April, 2026.
Loving husband of Eudiah Lang’at of Lessos. Cherished father of Gilbert Langat (MD VIP Mobility Africa), Asenath Lang’at (Canaan Foundation), Lilian Lang’at (Empower a Child), and Faith Lang’at (KeNHA). Father in law of Daisy (TSC), Nick (CEO Canaan Foundation), Fred (IRC), Eng. Morris (Savannah Fiber).
Grandfather of Alvin, Nadia, Imani, Carly, Gloria, Cassidy, Carlton and Wendy. Son of the late Agui Nehemiah Nyoro and the late Gogo Grace Nyoro.
Son in law of Agui Aspath Kogei and the late Gogo Rosa Kogei. Brother of Zeddy Rono,Hellen Keter, Livingstone Lang’at, Priscillah Nyoro, Loice Karoney, Sammy Langat, Ben Lang’at (Nigeria), Joseph Lang’at, Eunice Too and the late Gilbert Lang’at.
Brother in law of the late Rono, Amb. Keter, Cecilia, Karoney, Rosebellah, Jane, Jennifer, Too, Charity.
He was an uncle, cousin and friend to many. Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home in Terige, Lessos, Nandi County from 4pm.
The cortege leaves MTRH Funeral Home on 8th May 2026 at 12pm for memorial service at AIC Lessos and night stay at his home.
Burial will be on 9th May 2026 at his Sochoi Farm
