It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Erastus Juma Njoroge on Saturday, 2nd May, 2026 at Outspan Hospital, Nyeri.
He is the beloved husband of Monica Nyambura Juma. He is the devoted father of Dr. Moses Njoroge Juma, Rahab Magiri Juma and Judith Nzisa.
He is the grandfather of Nadene Nyambura Njoroge.
He is son of the late Moses Njoroge Kihato and the late Rahab Magiri, step son of the late Lucy Wanjiku Njoroge.
Beloved brother of Kihato Njoroge, Alice Ndegwa, Samuel Ndumbe, Lydiah Karanja, Josiah Mwaura, Susan Waitherero, Mariah Wangari, John Mbui, Peter Waithaka,Thuku Njoroge, Prisca Waitherero, the late Joseph Chege, the late Samuel Macharia, the late Alice Wangu and the late Francis Juma.
Son-in Law of the late Jeremiah Mwichuri and the late Loise Wanjiru.
Brother-in-law of John Ndirangu, Sammy Wandeithi, Esther Ruguru, Joseph Kamau, Rebecca Gathoni and the late Anne Wangari.
He is a cherished uncle and a friend to many.
Daily prayer meetings are being held at Deekee Hotel, Murang’a Town from 7:00 p.m, as well as at his home in Milimani Estate, Kiharu, Murang’a, and at his ancestral home in Mairi Village, Kangari Location, Kigumo Sub-County, Murang’a County.
The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home, Kabati on Wednesday, 13th May 2026 at 8.00 am for a funeral service at Mairi Sports Grounds.
He will later be laid to rest at his farm.
Romans 14:8 : “If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord.
