It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Fredrick Kioko Kavilingi, who was called to eternal rest on Sunday, 26th April 2026.
Fredrick was a beloved son of the late Kavilingi Manthi and Naomi Katoole Kavilingi. He was a son-in-law of Maingi Mututa, Ndululu Maingi, Benson Sammy Muoka, and Janet Kasiki Sammy.
He was the husband of the late Marrietta Mumbua Kioko and Naomi Nzaumi Kioko.
He was a loving father of Meshack Manthi aka.Mesh, (Mks County Govt), Benson Kavilingi, Faith Ndanu, Ruth Katoole, and Hope Mutheu, and a father-in-law of Evelyne Nduku Manthi.
He was also a proud grandfather of Daniel Mutangili, Blessing Mumbua, and Jeremy Musyoki (Bazu).
Fredrick was a treasured brother of Stella Mutisya (Stepal), Jackline Ndunge, Francisca Nthenya (Mks County Govt)), Alice, the late Rose, Phoebe, Josephine, and the late Joyce.
He was a brother-in-law of Paul Mutisya (Stepal), Stephen Kitolo, and Patrick Mutuku.
He was a loving uncle of Mercy and Timothy; Maureen and Andrew; Patience; Tony; Eric; Kennedy; Derrick; Nduku; Kivai; Kyallo; Mukilya; Ngui, among many others.
He was also a cousin of Mateli; Mr. Mwinzi and Celina; Mueni; Mbithi; Joseph Kasyoka; Stanley Muli, among others.
Fredrick worked with the Ministry of Public Works, Nelliwa Construction Company, Stepal Builders, and Africost Limited.
Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home in Mbooni East, Kisau Nzeeni Village, from 4:00 p.m.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Machakos, on Thursday, 7th May 2026 at 8:00 a.m., proceeding to his home in Mbooni East, Kisau Nzeeni Village for the funeral service and burial, which will commence at 10:00 a.m.
Fredrick will be remembered for his strength, love, laughter, generosity, and the warmth he extended to his family and community.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
