With gratitude for a life beautifully lived and in humble submission to God’s perfect will, the family of Florence Wambui Muhungura announces her transition which occurred on 29th, April 2026.
She served with distinction as the Deputy Principal of Maanzoni Secondary School.
She was the fourth born to her dear parents the late Evanson Muhungura Miako and Magdaline Wambui Muhungura of Kagaa, Githunguri, Kiambu County.
Daughter in Law of the late Samuel Kinuthia & late Loise Muthoni.
A beloved sister of Susan Koina,The late Simon Miako, Alice Kinyanjui & the late John Kinyanjui, Stephen Mwaura & Christine Wairimu, Joseph Gichimu & Fidelis Nyambura and Jemimah Wanjiru & John Weru, Virginia Wanjiku, Fredrick Mbiyu, David Njuguna, Elizabeth Wambui, Rose Kiongo, the late Paul Gichimu and Florence Wanjiru.
She remains deeply cherished by her beloved spouse Cyrus Karanja Kinuthia; her cherished children, Kevin Kinuthia, Maureen Muthoni, and Jason Muhungura; and her treasured granddaughter, Ella Wambui.
She was also a cherished mother-in- law of Bilha Muthoni.
She was an in-law of Rahab Njeri, Lucy Wanjiku, Edward Githuri, David Nyori (Canada), Charles Njonjo (U.S.A), Anne Wanjiru, Edith Nduta, Evanson Mbugua (Dubai) and Ian Mukoma.
She played many roles in people’s lives serving as a cousin, an aunt, friend and a guiding mentor to countless individuals.
We will gather to give thanks for a life that spoke love in its purest form at Kenyatta University Funeral Home (Thika Road) on Friday 8th May, 2026 at 7.00 a.m. and thereafter proceed to P.C.E.A Musa Ndirangu Church Kagaa for service at 10.00 a.m and later the final rites at her matrimonial home Kagaa, Githunguri, Kiambu County.
Family and friends are meeting daily at her home (Buru – Buru Phase 4 – Ukunda/ Ting’ang’a Court) from 6.00 p.m. and at Kagaa, Githunguri.
