SUZANNE MGHOI MWASHIGHADI,

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved Suzanne Mghoi Mwashighadi, of Werugha Village, Wundanyi Sub-County, Taita Taveta County.

Suzanne was a loving and devoted wife to Mr. Ferdinand Mwashighadi Mghoi and a caring mother to Naomi Mwashighadi, Victor Mghoi (Mombasa), and Ruth Mwikali Mwashighadi. She was a proud and affectionate grandmother to Amani Daniel and Zawadi Naomi.

She was the cherished daughter of the late Mzee Joseph Mghoi and the late Mama Esther Mwangeka of Wundanyi. Suzanne was a dear sister to Peter Mghoi, Beatrice Mwangeka, the late Philip Mghoi, and Margaret Mwashighadi.

She was a treasured aunt, cousin, and friend to many, fondly remembered for her humility, diligence, and strong Christian faith. Suzanne was an active member of St. Albert Wundanyi Church, where she served faithfully in the Women Guild.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the family home in Werugha Village and at her residence in Mombasa (Mikindani) for prayers and funeral arrangements.

Funeral Arrangements

The body is lying at Hillscare Hospital.

The cortege will leave the mortuary on Friday, 8th May 2026, at 9:00 a.m. for a Requiem Mass at St. Albert Wundanyi Church.

Thereafter, burial and thanksgiving service will follow at her home in Werugha Village, Wundanyi Sub-County.
