It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Kamau Ndung’u (Uncle Joe) of Karen, Nairobi.
Son of late Senior Chief David Ndung’u Kagori and the late Jane Wairimu. Beloved husband of the late Annastasia Njeri.
Brother of the late Samuel Mburu, the late Agatha Njeri Ichatha, John Kariuki (Thika) Brother in Law to the Late Mary Mumbi Mburu, Francis Ichatha and Ruth Nyambura Kariuki. Survived by brothers and sisters.
Father of Catherine Kamau, the late Edmund Ndung’u Kamau, the late David Kamande, and Patricia Kamau. Father-in-law of Ben Onserio.
Loving grandfather of Tanya, Stephanie, Tracy, Michelle and Brian. He was a friend to many.
There will be a requiem Mass at Regina Caeli Catholic Church in Karen on Wednesday, 15th April, 2026 at 2.30pm.
The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home at 7.00 am on Friday, 17th April, 2026, for Gatanga, where the funeral mass and burial will be held at his home in Gaitegi Village, Gatanga Location, Murang’a County at 10.00 am.
