It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr. Charles Onsongo Gecheo of Nyameru Sub-location, Keera Location, Nyamira County, which occurred on 29th March 2026 after a short illness.
Husband of the late Pacifica Moraa Gecheo.
Loving father of Auka Gecheo and Tabu Muoka; Getiria Onsongo and Rinal Ray; the late Tom Nyambati and Edith Hika; Patrick Mokua; Martha Masara and the late Sylvester Ogeto.
Grandfather of George Kamau, Renee Moraa, Lee Ogeto, Ryan Mikaya, Rohan Nyambati and Isabella Kamene.
Brother of Fransisca Arama, Teresa Kemunto, Elmelda Nyanchama, the late Christoper Ondieki, Zachary Gecheo, James Gecheo, Mellen Kwamboka Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Mutukanio for funeral arrangements.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, 1st April 2026 at St.Joseph’s Church, Kihingo, Mutukanio, starting at 10:00am, followed by burial at his home in Mutukanio.
