It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved patriarch Mzee Mark Michuki Nkarichia (fondly known as British) at Texas hospital Nairobi.
Mzee Michuki was born in Muthuunyi village, Muthara location,Tigania East Sub County, Meru county.
He was the son of the late Stephano M’Nkarichia and the late Teresa Kayai.
He was husband of Andela Michuki. Lovely and present father of Jane Karambu, Patrick Michuki, Moses Michuki, Purity Baariu, Makena Mabonga, Fridah Michuki and Gacheri Michuki.
Father inlaw of Jeremiah Kirikiru, Winnester Wangari,Virginia Naivasha, Godfrey Baariu, Charles Mabonga and Joseph Mwai.
Awesome grandfather of 19 grandchildren:, Muriungi, Frank, Munene, Kendi, Bryson, Murithi, Sharon, Ivan, Baraka, Muthomi, Angel, Sheridan, Ushindi, Breanna, Murangiri, Chelsea, Righteous, Mukami and Lucien.
He was brother of Romano, Theophilo, Centinho, Linus (all late) Venaciu, Angela, Petero and Joanina.
Mzee’s body is currently lying at Cool Breeze Funeral Home Meru.
Baaba will be laid to rest on Thursday 26th March 2026 at His home in Muthuunyi village, Muthara location, Tigania East Sub County, Meru County.
