We regret to announce the death of Mr. Daniel Mbugi Kuira, formerly of Kenyatta University.
Loving husband of Monica Waturi Mbugi of Gathehu Village – Karatina.
He was son of the late Geoffrey Kuira and the late Charity Wacuka. Son in-law of the late Ezekiel & Wanjiku Karanja of Kabete.
Doting father of the late Job Kuira, Samuel Karanja, Emily Wacuka, John Macharia, Rachael Wanjiku, Grace Wamuyu and the late Moses Njenga.
He was father-in-law of Elizabeth, late Carol, Lydia, Ben, Regina and Martin.
Loving grandfather of Maria, Laura, Wangui, Shirlyn, Wanjohi, Ryan, Monica, Andrew, Wacuka, Winnie, Dylan, Waturi, Imani and Tugi.
He was brother of Mary Wamuyu, Johnson Macharia, late Teresa Nyaguthii, Simon Burii, Charles Wahome, Lucy Mumbi, Edward Muriithi, Nelson Maina, Jane Waruguru, Margaret Nyawira and Nancy Wambui.
He was a brother-in-law and uncle to many. Burial preparation meetings are being held daily at his Gathehu home, Karatina.
The cortège leaves Jamii Hospital Mortuary Karatina on Saturday the 8th of November 2025.
Funeral service and burial will take place at his home in Gathehu from 10:00am.
