It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Eng. Micah Kiplimo Kangogo of Family Bank Limited which occurred on Sunday 19th October 2025.
Eng. Micah was a beloved husband of Mercy Koech and a devoted father of Rowan Kiprop and Nolan Kipng’eno. Born on 24th November 1988 in Barasin Village, Bugar, Elgeyo Marakwet County, Eng. Micah was the cherished son of Mr. William Kangogo Kigen and Mrs.Regina Kangogo.
He was a dear brother of Charles, Henry, Beatrice, Norah, Ruth, and Sophie Kangogo.
He was also a son-in-law of Mrs. Jane Koech of Kaptolosio and brother-in-law of Eunice Kosgei, Faith Chirchir, Maurice Koech, Clement Cheruiyot, Elias Kemboi Kipruto, Gillian Jemutai, and Naomi Jepkogei. Micah leaves behind a legacy of love as a caring uncle of Claire, Chantel, Tony, Kigen, Ansel, Ivan, Leon, Tamara, and Lenia, and as a nephew of Felix, Festus, Brenda, Claris, Ashley, Lucky, Vikol, and Eugine.
He was also a dear cousin of Kiprop, Ann, Elizabeth, John, Paul, Lydia, Kipkosgei, Kibet, and Kibet.
Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday, 29th October 2025, at Umash Funeral Home Chapel in Nairobi from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
Fundraising will be held the same day, Wednesday, 29th October 2025 at the family home in Bugar.
The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home, Nairobi on Friday, 31st October 2025, for an overnight vigil at Bugar Home.
Burial will be held on Saturday, 1st November 2025, at his Bugar (Barasin) Farm, Keiyo North Constituency, Elgeyo Marakwet County.
