It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved Jennifer Musanga Miheso, formerly of Kenya Postal Corporation (Posts).

Beloved daughter of the late Paul Esandulu Mwera and the late Sarah Kiberenge of Handidi Village, Lubao Sub-Location, Kakamega North Sub County.

Loving wife of the late Hezron Isiji Miheso of Shitoli Sub-Location, Shirumba Location, Kakamega South Sub-County.

Treasured mother of Dr. Grace Miheso, Emily Stravens and the late Kenneth Stravens (Toronto, Canada), Henry and Penina Miheso, Stanley and Millicent Miheso, Gilbert M’mudi and Cynthia and Norman Sharp (Melbourne, Australia).

Adored grandmother of Natalie, Jenny, the late Stephanie, Eva, Baraka, Shepherd, Philip, Daniela, Olivia, Victor, and Samson.

Dear sister of the late Deborah Alivitsa, Helen Ingesia, Jonah Khanyanga, Elkana Mwera, Joseph Khayesa, Jesca Naloya, Mary Whendwa, Solomon Shisia, the late Harambee, the late Odali and the late Lucia.

Sister-in-law of the late Masitsa Mirita, the late Solomon Konzolo, the late Makwakwa, the late Lihumi, late Atema, Gayo Mwaya, the late Damari Mulavi, Salome Muhati and Nora Khatani.

Auntie to several nieces and nephews, cousin and friend to many.

Meetings are being held daily at her home in Shikokho Village. The cortege will depart Kakamega Funeral Parlour on Friday, 16th October 2026, for an overnight vigil at her home. The funeral service and burial will take place on Saturday, 17th October 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

We thank God for the gift of Jennifer’s life, her love, warmth, resilience and the precious memories she leaves behind.
