It is with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Retired teacher Mrs Susan Muthoni Kamurua Mwangi of Gilgil, Gitare Village on Wednesday 7th October 2026.

She was the wife of the late Inspector of Police Peter Kamurua and loving mum of Eric & Sophie, the late Judy and Mwangi Wairegi, Martin & Monica Nyoike, Edwin & Janet Njihia, Dennis.

She was daughter of the late John Mathenge and the late Janet Wambui.

She was sister of Wanjiu, Nyokabi, the late Kagure, the late Peter, the late Wangeci, Ndungu, Wahome and Njoki.

She was a loving grandmother of Shantel & Andrew, Mitchell, Mike, Warren, Wendy, Giannah, Victoria, Wesley, Neema, Zawadi, Louis, Liam, Eliana, Jeremy and Isaac.

She was the great grandmother of Kaia and Isla.

The cortege leaves St Mary’s Funeral Home Kikopey, Gilgil on Friday 16th October 2026 at 8:00 for service and interment at her home in Gilgil, Gitare, Kianugu Village.
