MR. EDWARD MUSOMBI MUNABI – Funeral & Burial Details Kenya

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mr. Edward Musombi Munabi on Friday, 4th September, 2026 following a short illness.

Edward was a dear son of the late William Munabi and Margaret Munabi of Kitale. A dedicated husband of the late Carolyne Chepkarat, Rose Nangila and Grace Mwangi, a caring father of Cosmos, Brigit, Rysper, Lindah, Elizabeth, Carren, Amos, Laventer, Harriet and Ninah. He was a devoted grandfather of Obrien Musombi.

Edward was a brother of the late Jane, Beatrice, Florence, late David, late Everlyne, Pamela, Dorcas Saikwa, Bernard, Christine, late Evans, Vincent, John, late Thomas and Ruth.

Family and friends are meeting at his residence in Lessos Estate, Kitale for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Cherang’any Nursing Home on Thursday 17th September 2026 at 10:00 a.m. to Mtimu Catholic Church for a requiem Mass and thereafter depart for his Lessos Residence.

On Friday 18th September 2026 the body will be transported to Chebasan Farm, Saboti for a night vigil. Funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, 19th September 2026 at Kapretwa Primary School followed by the burial at his Chebasan Residence in Saboti.
