MARGARET WANJIRU GATHITU – Funeral & Burial Details Kenya

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mrs Margaret WanJiru Gathitu of Nairobi South B, Golden Gate.

The sixth born child of the late John Chege Githira and Esther Njambi Chege.

Wife of Mark Gathitu Gacheru. Mother of the late Robert Gacheru, the late Stephen Chege, Susan Nyambura, Andrew Gachegua, Paul Mburu, James Githiga, Esther Njambi and Grace Wangari.

Mother-in-law of Sabrina Mburu. Sister of the late Zipporah Waihera, the late Tiras Mburu, Peter Waiheri, the late Francis Kinyanjui, the late Stephen Karinge, Nancy Kariithi, Elizabeth Chege, George Wathanga, Anne Chege, Samuel Mbugua, and Eunice Maina.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the family home Nairobi South B, Golden Gate Estate from 5:00 p.m. for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Friday 18th September 2026 at 8:00 a.m. for a funeral mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace, Nairobi South B at 10:00 a.m. and interment thereafter at Langata Cemetery.

Margaret has fought the good fight, she has finished the race, she has kept the faith.
