1980 ~ 2026
It is with humble acceptance that we announce the death of Moses Roger Oyugi Akumu.
Born on 30th August 1980 to Mama Alice Aluoch Akumu and the late Peter Charles Akumu Ouko.
Moses joined the Ministry of Education (MOE), State Department for Basic Education, in 2003, where he served as an Auditor. During his distinguished career, he worked in several counties, including Kakamega, Siaya, Homa Bay, Makueni, Bomet and Kisumu, where he served with dedication, professionalism and commitment to public service.
He was married to Jacqueline Ayoo Mola and Linda Mwali Ouma, and they were blessed with six children: Jaydee, Charlene, Jayden, Tiegen, Jason and Alisa.
He is survived by his seven siblings: Beatrice, Judith, Muthoni, Benedict, Lisa, Tony and Reagan.
He will be laid to rest at Ojola, Kisumu County, on 12th September 2026.
