It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Ignatius Rotich of Irimis village (Next to Kapsabet Girls), Kipture Location, Kilibwoni Ward, Nandi County.
Son of the late Dr. Vincent Kiprotich Komugor of Kapngaroni and the late Mrs. Anne Chepchirchir Kiprotich.
Beloved husband of the late Beatrice Rotich.
Cherished father of Eva Cheptanui (Australia), Enid Jepkosgei (Australia), Dr. Christine Jepkemboi (MTRH) and Faith Cheptoo (NCRH).
Adored brother of Louis Rotich (Retired CBK), the late Susan Kipkemboi and Dr. Mark Rotich (USA).
Much loved grandfather of Erica Cherop, Taji Kigen, Tyrone Berur and Ethan Kipkoech.
The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Farewell Home today, Wednesday 12th August 2026 for a vigil at his home in Irimis village, Kipture Location, Kilibwoni Ward, Nandi County.
Funeral service and burial will be held on Thursday 13th August 2026 at his farm Irimis village (Next to Kapsabet Girls), Kipture Location, Kilibwoni Ward, Nandi County.
