MATRIARCH, MRS ALICE KATHEU MULINGE – Funeral & Burial Details Kenya

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the passing of our Matriarch, Mrs Alice Katheu Mulinge.

She was the wife of the late Mr Paul Mulinge. Co-wife of Syethei and Mwikali (both late). She was the daughter of late Joel Maeke and late Rebecca Mwikali. Niece of late Ngwenze and Ndolo.

She was the mother of Patrick Mutiso, Onesmus Mulinge, Captain Mulinge, Dr Mbithi Mutunga (UK), late Keli Mulinge, Danson Mutisya and Rebecca Mutua.

She was stepmother of Muthio, Kitaka, Talava, Kalwela, Syekonyo, Richard, Joseph, Stephen, Janet (all late), Muia, Alice, Mwongeli, Muli and late Mulekye.

She was mother-in-law of Agnes and Jacinta Mutiso, Alice Mulinge, Lucy Mulinge, Danson Mutunga, Regina Mutisya, Jane Mutie, late Lois Kitaka, Anna Muli, late Geoffrey Mutua among others.

She was grandmother of Kawendo, Triza, Abigail, Judy, Patricia, Katanu, late Mumo, Mutuku, Katheu, Muthoni, Paty, Linda, Tito, Raymond, Keka, Judy, Yvonne, Mwonge. She was great grandmother of many.

She was sister of Kikuto, William, Wanza, Mutunge, (all late) and Raphael. Cousin of Ngwenzes and Ndolos among others.

Auntie of the Kiambas, Musaus, Mualukos, Mbithis, Kyulis, Mutuas and Maekes, among others.

Friends are meeting at her Tawa home, and at Paty Homes at Tawa Market daily at 6.30 pm. The funeral service will be held on 17th of October 2026 at her home at Imale/Kyone, Tawa, Mbooni West, Makueni County.

The body lies at Montezuma Funeral Home, Machakos.
