It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Gatenjwa Kagucia, Advocate which occurred on Wednesday 22nd July 2026 at Bloom Hospital, Nakuru.
He was the loving husband of Loice Wairimu Kaguicia.
Father of Phillip Gatenjwa Kagucia, Eunice Wangeci Kagucia and Geoffrey Mburu Kagucia.
Father-in-law of Angela Mghoi Shuma and Humphrey “One Mic” Muturi.
Grandfather of Maria Wairimu, Jonah Kagucia, Marcus Mwandoe, Njeeri Bernadette and Nemo Elise.
He was the son of the late Gatenjwa Kagucia, the late Junius Wangeci and Alice Njeri.
Brother of Charles Irungu, James Mwangi, Teresia Wanjiru, David Kaguicia, Frederick Njoroge, Elizabeth Waithera, Mwangi Gatenjwa, Jennifer Wambui, the late Ernest Gacua, Priscilla Muthoni and Francis Kariuki.
He was the son-in-law of the late Geoffrey Mburu and the late Hannah Njeri.
Brother-in-law of Mary Kihara, John Mbari, Irene Kamau and Peter Njung’e (Gakoi).
A cousin and uncle of many.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Nakuru from 5:00 p.m.
The burial is scheduled to take place on Friday 31st July 2026 at his farm in Njoro after a funeral service at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Milimani, Nakuru.
