
It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Whitney Wanda, a beautiful soul, whose light touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She found love and companionship in her marriage to Bramwel Wakachunga, with whom she built a life grounded in care and commitment.
She was a proud and loving mother to her son, Paul, who was her greatest joy and inspiration.
Deeply cherished by her family, she was lovingly raised under the care of Washington Wanzala, Margaret Nafula, and Joseph and Esnas Wekundah, who nurtured her into the remarkable woman she became.
She shared a special bond with her siblings (the late Catherine, the late Garry, and the late Claire Wanzala). Everlene, Rebecca, Daughty, Caren, Molly, Olyvia, and Ryanon Wanzala.
She also shared a special bond with her other siblings Philip, Michael, Manasseh, James, Anne and Ruth Wekundah.
Each relationship was woven with love, laughter, and lasting memories.
Whitney was also a devoted niece and cousin of many, holding a treasured place in the hearts of her extended family.
She was also a cherished daughter-in-law of Florence Naliaka Wakachunga and the late Paul Wakachunga a dear sister-in-law of Eng. Edmond Wakachunga, Godfrey Wakachunga, Lilian Wakachunga, Maureen Wakachunga, Wendy Saratuki , Hon Brian Obiero and Miriam Kinyanjui.
Treasured aunty of Samuela, Bella, Olivia, Imani, Georgina, Melissa, Joel, Makayla, Meghan, Jude, Azaria, Zeyden, Nakami, Ajani, Ruby, Zuri, Makena, Amari, Taji, Ethan, Jesse, Fabrice, Cliffs, Wayne, Yvette, Daisy, Jabali, Christian, Shafique, Ryan, Shania, Ryan and Michelle.
Whitney’s kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit will be remembered always.
Though she is gone from our sight, her love remains with us, enduring, and forever cherished.
Friends and relatives shall meet on Tuesday the 7th of April 2026 at 5:30 pm at United Kenya Club.
There shall be Funeral service on Wednesday the 8th of April 2026 the from 1.00 PM at CITAM – Valley Road.
The cortege leaves Nairobi on Friday for burial on Saturday the 11th April at her matrimonial home in Aruba, Kitale.
