Heaven rejoices as we celebrate the radiant spirit of Wambui “Wabi” Wanjau, who blessed everyone she met with her warmth and kindness, and who entered eternal rest on 5th October 2025.
She was the beloved wife of Steve Wanjau Wachira, and a devoted mother to Wachira Wanjau and Migui Wanjau.
Daughter of Samuel Migui and Jose Wanjiku Wachira. Cherished sister to the Late Muthoni Wachira, Njoki Kuria and Kamamia Migui.
Daughter-in-law to George Reuben and Amy Freda Wachira.
Sister-in-law to Thomas Kuria, Tabbylene (Tabbs) & Peter Mukundi, Lucy & Bobby Kiama, Njambi & Jack Ngunyangi, and Esther & Joe Munene.
Loving aunt to Ian, Allan, Kyle, Chelsea, Troy, Ariella, Martin, Rehema and Gakenia. A friend to many.
Wabi lived a life filled with love, courage, and generosity – a light so bright it can never fade.
Though our hearts ache with loss, we remain deeply grateful for the beautiful life she lived and the cherished memories that will forever shine in our hearts.
A prayer service will be held at the family’s Karen home, Nairobi, on Monday, 13th October 2025, from 5:30 pm to 7.30 pm.
A memorial service will take place at PCEA St. Andrews Church, Nairobi, on Wednesday, 15th October 2025, starting at 9.00am.
A private ceremony in line with the wishes of the family will take place thereafter.
