It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Eunice Wambui Ndiritu-Mureithi on 25th September 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Danson Ndiritu Gathirua and the late Milka Gathoni Ndiritu.
Wife of the late, Martin Muriithi Mwaniki and a doting mother to Yvonne Wangui Mureithi and Ivy Gathoni Muriithi.
Eunice was a cherished sister of the late Dr. Cyrus Gathirua Ndiritu, Loise Njeri Ndung’u, Marion Njoki Muchai, Beatrice Kagure Ndiritu, David Kagotho Nderitu, Margaret Wanjiku Ndiritu-Gakuo, and Rahab Wakarima Ndiritu.
She was a daughter-in-law of the late Wilson Mwaniki Nderui and Susan Waithiegeni Mwaniki, and a sister-in-law of Peter Muchai Mbugua, Amos Ndung’u Wamathai, Wellington Nderitu-Gakuo and Lucy Wairimu Kuria, Rosalid Njoki Kariuki, Irene Wanjiku Mwaniki, James Maina Mwaniki, Zacheria Wambugu Mwaniki, and Samuel Mathenge Mwaniki.
Eunice was a devoted family member—a loving mother, sister, sister-in-law, cousin, aunt and a treasured friend – her love and warmth touched countless lives.
Family and friends are meeting at Kahawa Sukari Estate, Nyahururu Road, 3rd North Avenue from 7.00pm daily.
The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home (Thika Road) on Friday, 3rd October 2025 at 8:00 a.m. for church service to be held at Citam Valley Road from 10.00 a.m.
Burial will follow at Langata Cemetery, Langata Road, Nairobi.
