Violet was the beloved wife of Benard Kocholla of Hytech International Company.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Christopher Makhandia Opili and the late Rosa Makokha Makhandia of Khasoko Village Bungoma County.
She was also daughter of Norah Nasimiyu, the late Josphine Abiero, Ann Magero, Arinota, Auma, Nyageri, Mangarita, Magdalene, Florence, Sarah, the late Resla, Leonora, Sarah Malala, Beatrice, Audesta, Namlembo, Agatha, Apondi, Alice, among others.
Daughter-in-law of Paul Ochola, the late Plister Atieno and Anne Ocholla, the late Odewa, the late Mbaya, the later Awino, the late Odendi and the later Magdalene.
Adoring mother of Aulgha (Advocate-Nairobi) and Wesley (Oasis).

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home in Nairobi on September 10 for requiem mass at St Gabriel’s Karungu Catholic Church Aringo, Migori County before her final rest on September 11 2025.
