It is with humble acceptance that we announce the passing of Teresiah Nyambura Njenga, who went to be with the Lord on 27th September 2025.
She was the wife of the late James Njenga Mujing’a, and the co-wife of Mary Wanjiku Njenga.
Loving mother of Albert Kiriga, George Mugo, Monicah Gitui (Mathare Hospital), the late Jane Maina, Margaret Nduta, Lucy Njau (Gikomba), Hannah Nyokabi (Precious salon Rironi), Stephen Thiiru Njenga (Everstep contractors ltd) Francis Muiruri (Frank Vet) and Grace Wanjuhi (Gikomba).
Step mother of Esther Wambui,Virginia Wanjiru, Margaret Nduta, Elizabeth Mweru, Jane Wamaitha, Peninah Nduta, Joseph Mbuthia and Catherine Njeri.
Mother-in-law of Stephen Gitui (director, library services), the late Josephat Maina, Njau Kahura, Hiram wa Mahuti, Mary Mugo, Everlyne Thiiru (Ngea Comprehensive School Mai Mahiu) Emily Muiruri (Tigoni Hospital) and Ephantus Kamau.
Grandmother of Njenga, Njeri, Mau, Mwangi, Mwaniki, Wambui, Kahura, and many others.
Great grandmother to many.
Family and friends are meeting daily for condoling and prayers at her home in Kiroe, Rironi, Limuru from 4.00pm.
A requiem mass will be held on Thursday, 2/10/2025 at her home.
The cortège leaves KU Referral Hospital on Friday, 3/10/2025 at 8.00am for burial at her home from 10.00am
