It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Silas Njeru Kamau, Principal – Kamiu Secondary School on the 20th January, 2026.
Husband of Joyce Sau Njeru. Father of Tabitha Mwemba Njeru, Cecilia Wanja Njeru and Sharon Samba Njeru and grandfather of Aiden Fadhili.
Son of the late Jeremiah Ireri Kamau and the late Cecilia Wangai Ireri.
Son in-law of Edwin Kirigha and Tabitha Mwemba Brother of Nancy Muthoni, Moses Karati, the late Bedan Muriithi, Jones Rwamba, James Nyaga, Peter Karati, the late Samuel Ndereva, the late Patrick Njiru and David Rugendo.
Brother-in-law of Kellen Njue, the late Peris Muriithi, James Njoka, Ephantus Mwaniki, Ann Nyaga, Anastacia Karimi and Purity Kagendo.
Uncle and friend to many.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Rupingazi, Mbeti North Ward, Embu West Sub-County, Embu County as well as Irangi Village, Kagaari North West location, Embu East Sub-County, Embu County for funeral arrangements.
The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home on Wednesday 28th January 2026 at 8.30 am, proceeding to Canaan Resort for the funeral service and thereafter to Rupingazi Village for interment at his home
