It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt regret that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr.Samuel M’Obuya Morara, who peacefully went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, 15th October 2025, after a long illness bravely borne.
Mr. Morara was a distinguished businessman and a dedicated church elder at CITAM – Ngong Church.
He was the son of the late Gabriel Obuya, Teresia Bosibori, and Clemensia Mbera; a devoted husband of Mrs. Monica Morara; and a beloved brother of Clementina, Agnes, Mary, Zachariah, and the late Richard, Pamela, and Sarange.
He was also a brother-in-law of Joseph Ondere, Saul Orina, Nyaboke, and Josephine.
He was a loving father of the late Lillian Nyaboke, Emily Nyabonyi Chirchir, Fred Okio, Amos Onsomu, Nancy Kelly, Hilda Moraa, Thomas Amwata, and Faith Kabesa.
He was a beloved uncle of Tom, Jane, Nyanchama, Geoffrey, Ochieng’, Shila, and many others.
A cherished father-in-law of Kennedy Chirchir, Irene Nyambeki, Jamie Onsomu, Norman Kelly, and Anne Ngugi; and a treasured grandfather of Elsie, Kelly, Edwin, Maryanne, Andy, Daniel, Liam, Levi, Brianna, Gabriela, Ivannah, Ryan and Soraya.
He will be fondly remembered as a dear uncle, mentor, and friend to many, whose wisdom, kindness, and unwavering faith touched countless lives.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his farm residence in Ngong – Matasia for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, 24th October 2025, at 9:00 a.m., at CITAM – Karen, followed by burial at his farm.
