It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the resting of Rtd. Elder Stanley Munyambu Miring’u of Mbari-ya-igi Sub-location, Komothai Location, Githunguri Sub-county, Kiambu County that occurred on 4th March 2026 after a short illness bravely borne.
He was beloved husband of Ruth Wairimu Munyambu. Loving father of Hellen Wanjeri and Jackson Keige, Anne Njoki and Tony Ng’ang’a and Esther Wambui and Peter Mbugua.
Loving grandfather of Natasha, Melissa, Samuel, Nathaniel, Samarah and Emmanuel.
He was son of the late Mwalimu Miring’u Kamundiu and the late Teresia Wanjeri Miring’u.
Son-in-law of the late Solomon Githuka and the late Hannah Njoki.
Brother of Samuel Kinuthia (Nyoro), Margaret Wambui and Henry Kinyanjui, the late Julius Thangwa and Salome Ruguru, Virginiah Wanjiru, Felistas Njahira, and Ann Nduta.
Brother-in-law of Rev Gichinga, Rev Ibrahim, Rev Gichuru, past moderator Gathanju, Kiarie, Wambui, Muturi and Githiu. Cousin, uncle and friend to many.
Daily prayer meetings are being held at his family home in Marige village at 4:00pm.
The cortege leaves the Lee Funeral Home on 11th March 2026 at 8:00am for a funeral service at PCEA Church, Komothai, at 10:00am.
Thereafter, the interment will take place at his Marige home.
