It is with sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Rose Njeri Mwaura which occurred on Thursday 26th February 2026.
Daughter of the late Stanley Kagiri Mũguanya and the late Marion Wagĩtũi Kagiri. She was the wife of the late Francis Mwaura Mbũgua.
Sister of Justus Mũguanya Kagiri (City mayor), the late Teresia Njoki Oluoch, the late Eunice Gatubĩ Njoroge and the late Monica Wanjikũ.
Mother of George Irũngũ and Billy Mbũgua. Mother in-law of Rose Njoki Irũngũ and Christine Wanjikũ Mbũgua.
She was grandmother of Megan Njeri Mwaũra, Tevin Mwaũra Mbũgua, Natasha Njeri Mbũgua, and Austin Gĩthĩnji Mbũgua.
She was sister in-law of the late Stephen and Ruth Kimani, Samuel and Agnes Marima, Charles Ngwĩrĩ, Duncan and Violet Mbuti, Mary Njeri and late Josephat Mũturi.
She was an aunt to many nephews and nieces.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily from 4:00 pm in Kitengela for prayers and burial preparations.
The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home (Thika Road) on Tuesday 10th March 2026 at 8:00 am.
The funeral service and burial will be held at Mũthũrũmbĩ, Iturũ sub-location, Gatũndũ south near AIPCA Church.
We loved you Mum, but God loved you more. Rest in peace our dear Mum.
