It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mrs. Rose Kaari Marangu on Thursday, 19th March 2026.
She was a retired nurse, formerly working at Kerugoya Level 5Hospital.
Beloved wife of Mr. Samson Marangu Njara. Loving mother of Purity Kithiru, Martin Kinoti, Doin Nkatha, and Winnie Karwitha.
Mother-in-law of Joel Mugambi, Agnes Mithara,Lewis Koome, and Philip Muthomi.
Daughter of the late Bernard M’Arithi and Terengina Wanja. Sister of David Mwebia, the late Agnes Gaiti, the late Daniel Mutwiri, Zaverio Mbae, and the late Constansio Kimathi.
Daughter-in-law of the late Alphayo M’Njara, the late Margaret Gakiiru, and the late Martha M’Njara.
Sister-in-law of Ntue, the late Mwebia, the late Kaburu, Karimi, Mugure, Mwari, the late Mutwiri, and Karoki.
Doting grandmother of Kiambi, Victor, Nimah, Bridget,Nathaniel, Munene, Edward, Miriam, Joy, and Natasha.
Loving aunt and cousin to many.
Family and friends are meeting daily at the family home in Kerugoya, opposite Kerugoya Boys High School.
The cortege will leave Mary Immaculate Hospital Mortuary, Kerugoya, on Friday, 27th March 2026 at 9:00 AM.
The funeral service will be held at PCEA Kerugoya Town Church from 10:00 AM, followed by the final rites at the family home in Kerugoya.
