It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Richard Mburu Kariuki.
Beloved husband of Jane Wanjiru Kariuki. Father of Ken Kariuki, Carol and Anthony Njagi, and Jackson Gachie Mburu.
He was the son of the late Luka Kariuki, the late Monica Njeri Kariuki and Nyambura Kariuki of Tangitano, Kiambogo, Nakuru County.
Son in law of the late Jackson Gachie Rugo, the late Naomi Gathoni Rugo and the late Ellena Wanjiku Rugo of Tumaini, Nyandarua County.
Loving brother of David Kimani, Selina Wangui, Lucy Wanjiru, the late Josphat Maina, Joyce Wambui, Isaac Mugunyi, the late Stephen Mwangi, the late Peter Karanja, Grace Wanjiru, Muiruri Kariuki, Mburu Kariuki, Joyce Wambui and Mary Wangari.
Brother-in-law of Irene Muthoni Mwangi, Julia Wangui Rugo, Elizabeth Wacera Njuguna, Esther Wangari Wainaina, Nancy Nyokabi Rugo, the late Abel Maina Gachie, Jason Murimi Gachie, Elishiba Wanjiku Gachie, Serah Muriithi, Grace Rugo, Fred Rugo, Julie Rugo, John Gachie, the late Margaret Gachie, Boniface Gachie, Joseph Gachie and the late Rose Gachie.
Grandfather of Bradley, Mucheru, Kyle and Mburu. Beloved uncle and cousin to many.
Requiem mass will be held at 10.00AM on Tuesday 11th November 2025 at St.Teresa Calcuta Catholic Church in Tena Estate.
The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home- Nakuru at 8.30AM on Thursday 13th November 2025 for burial at his home in Tangitano Shopping Centre, Kiambogo, Nakuru County.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home and at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi on Monday & Tuesday.
A major fundraising drive will take place on Monday 10th November 2025 at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi from 5:30PM.
