With hearts full of love and deep sadness we share the news of the passing of Rev.Wycliffe Wawire Wasike, Senior Pastor of Deliverance Church Kiamumbi, which occurred on 30 th December, 2025.
He was the devoted husband of Rev. Phyllis Njeri Wawire, and a loving father of Hope Lyaka Wawire, Esther Nekesa Wawire and Ivan Wawire.
He was the son of the late Tom Wasike and Norah Lyaka Wasike, and the son-in-law of Nathaniel Maina Kaniaru and Mary Nyakeru Maina.
He was the brother of Shadrack, Rodgers, Dennis, Vitalis, Concepta, Ruth, Joiner, Lydia, the late Leah, Agnes, Gladys, Violet, the late Colleta, Janet and Jeska.
Rev. Wasike was also, until his demise, a diligent public officer, serving as Director, Education Management Directorate, at the Kenya Education Management Institute (KEMI).
The cortege leaves the Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 15th January, 2026.
He will be laid to rest on Saturday 17th January, 2026 at his rural home in Misemwa Village, Muliro Sub-Location, Ndalu Location, Bungoma County.
