1945 – 2026
In humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing on of Mzee Isaya Nyabero Kamanda of Chepilat Sub-location, Manaret Location, Bomet County, which occurred at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) on 1 st January 2026.
He was a loving husband of Hellen Bosibori; a devoted father of the late Beatrice, Brenda (KNP), Stephen (KNH), Peggy (USA), Diana (Bomet County), and Faith USA); and a caring father-in-law of Nyandege, Caroline, Obaga, Robert, and Kasule.
He was a cherished grandfather of the late Winnie, Moraa, Sammy, the late Skylar, Betty, Patience, Abel, Laban, Presley, Preston, Fortune, Graham, Zuri, Myles and Mariana.
He was a son of the late Nyakemari and the late Mongina; a beloved brother of the late Hellena, the late Abere, Onkeo, Sabera, Granis, Mogere, and the late Nyakio; and a korera of Cecilia, Christine, Ombuya, Esther, Teresa, and Gwokyalya (Uganda).
Funeral Arrangements: The cortege will leave KNH Farewell Home on Thursday, 15th January 2026, for a church service at Chepilat Central SDA Church at 2:00 p.m., followed by a night vigil thereafter.
The burial service will be held on Friday, 16th January 2026, at the family residence located at Chepilat Sub-location, Manaret Location, Bomet County, near St. Anne Academy, at Chepilat Town.
