It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mwalimu Peter Kamiti Kamau.
Mwalimu Kamiti was the son of the late Jackson Kamau and the late Hazel Nduta.
He was the husband of Nancy Wanjiku Kamiti. He was the father of Monica Kirori, Caroline Nduta, Felix Kamau, Aloyse Bachia, Susan Wambui and Catherine Nyawira.
Brother of Terry Njeri Thige, the late Magdaline Wambui, Jecinta Kabui, Gathiru Kamau (Cliffer).
Step-brother of Wambui Mbugua, Njeri Kirori, Wairimu Ngugi and the late Stephen Gathiru.
Father-in-law of Kirori Ngaruiya, Bernadette Kamau, Catherine Bachia, Martin Karu and Jason Mbogo.
Grandfather to 13 grandchildren and great grandfather to four.
Friends and relatives are meeting at his home in Kirai -Túrirú Village (Mang’u) daily from 4.00pm.
The cortège will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home – Thika Road (Kabati) at 8:00am on Friday, 9th January 2026.
Mass will be held on the same day at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Mang’u at 10.00am.
He will later be laid to rest at his home in at Kirai-Túrirú Village (Mang’u).
