It is with humble acceptance that we announce the passing on of our matriarch, Mwalimu Mrs Trufosa Mutitu Munyi, on 4th February 2026.
She was wife of the late James Munyi Kinga, mother of the late Anthony Muriithi, Murugi and Munene Munyi, Christine Njura Munyi, Pauline and Michael Murray.
Grandmother of Vincent, Ethan, Emmanuela, Olivia, and Valencia.
She was daughter of the late Mr Eston Mbogo and Mrs Triza Eston, loving sister of Abuid Mugo and Rosemary Mugo, late Michael Munyi and Cecily Munyi, Matthew Ndwiga and late Mary Ndwiga, Margery Muthoni and Benson Kariuki, and late Ephavara Njue and Ann Njue.
She was also a daughter-in-law of the late Solomon Kinga and the late Eunice Nthereru Kinga.
Family and friends are meeting for fellowship daily at her Buru Buru Flats home at 6.00 pm.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, 11 th February 2026, at 4.00 pm at St James ACK Church, Buru Buru.
The funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, 13th February 2026, at her Embu home.
