It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Ms. Laura Atieno Onyango on Friday 22nd August at the M.P. Shah hospital Nairobi, of a short illness.
She was born on 5th November, 1979 at the M.P. Shah hospital Nairobi.
Laura was the daughter of James Onyango Oluoch and Norah Akinyi Onyango.
She was the sister of Linda Awuor Onyango, Christian Oluoch Onyango, Cynthia Amondi Onyango and Andrew Odhiambo Onyango.
She was sister-in-law of John Odongo and Valeriana Itenyo.
She was a doting aunt of Keenan Odongo, Suki Odongo and Liam Odhiambo.
She was a niece of Patrick Othieno Oluoch, Andronicko Ouma Oluoch, John Ogola Oluoch, Washington Otieno Oluoch & Milton Omondi Oluoch, the late George Osore, the late Fredrick Okoth, the late Bernard Juma, Richard Oluoch, Thomas Onyango.
Her aunts are Margaret Ojwang’, Phelgona Oluoch, the late Grace Nomoo, the late Risper Owino, Florah Achieng’, Patricia Atieno, Alphoncia Awuor, Carolyn Awino, Phelgona Othieno, Mary Ouma, Roselyn Ogola, Melony Otieno.

The memorial service will be held on Wednesday 3rd September, 2025 from 2.00pm to 4.00pm at Nkoroi Catholic Parish, Ongata Rongai, Kenya.
She will be laid to rest on Friday the 5th September, 2025 at the family home in Nyarago Village, Oruba Sub Location, South East Kanyamkago Location, Uriri Sub County, Migori County.
Friends and family are meeting daily at the family home in Balozi estate, Nkoroi, Ongata Rongai until Tuesday the 2nd September, 2025.
