It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing on of Maureen Cherono Korir, who went to be with the Lord on July 15, 2025.
Maureen was the beloved daughter of Dr. David Kipkosgei Korir and Mrs.Rose Chelangat Korir.
She was sister of Dr. Wycliffe Kipkurui Kosgei, Lynette Chepkoech Ochieng and Oscar Kipng’etich Kosgei.
She was also the sister-in-law of Dr. Faith Yego Kosgei and Pst. Dalton Ambrose Ochieng, and she was an aunt of Richard-Bryan Ochieng.
She was a granddaughter of Zipporah Sang and niece of Jane, Alice, Hellen, Elijah, Symon, Edward, Joseph, Zakayo, Alfred, Robert, and a cousin to many.
Maureen previously worked at The Boma Hotel in Nairobi, Hotel Chalet Christiania in Switzerland, and Rupaz Fun N Fitness Center.
She was also the owner of Uptown Coffee House in Eldoret.
Maureen was a cherished daughter, a dear friend, and a faithful servant of God.
She touched many lives through her fellowship at CITAM Eldoret, Calvary Chapel, and ICC Nairobi, as well as through her dedicated service with Aflewo – Eldoret.
Maureen will be laid to rest on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the family farm adjacent to Kapsaret Water Dam, past Eldoret International Airport in Mlango
area.
