It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Madam Bascaliah Okechi Mokunyo on 19th September 2025 through a road accident.
She was daughter of late Mama Annastacia Kerubo and Simeon Mogusu. Wife of the late David Okechi Mokunyo.
Beloved mother of the late Job Kebiro, Winnie Kerubo (Office of Auditor General), Dennis Chiruba (ALN Kenya), Deborah Moraa (British High Commission) and Vashti Kerubo (UoN). Mother-in-law of Mary, Faith and Andy.
Grandmother of Mokunyo, Alma, Ellah, Ansel, Joshua and Naya.
Sister of Nyaingiri, Agnes, Momanyi, Nyabuto, the late Sophia, Josephine and Tom.
The cortege leaves Kisii Teaching & Referral Hospital Mortuary on Thursday, 25 th September 2025.
Burial will be held on Friday, 26 th September 2025 at her home in Enamba Village, Riobara Sub-location, Nyamagwa Location, Sameta Sub-county, Kisii County.
