It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Lieutenant Colonel Peter Arkan Masai (Benny) of Atapar Village, Chakol Division, Teso County while undergoing treatment at Defence Forces Memorial Hospital (DFMH), Nairobi on 28th June 2025.
He was the beloved son of Mr. Anthony Murunga Masai and Mrs. Julita Ityang Masai, and a cherished brother of Stephen Masai, Elizabeth Masai, Angela Masai, the late Irene Masai and the late Michael Masai.
He leaves behind a loving family including his four children: Fauzia, Kevin, Leonard and Jabez.
He was a devoted uncle of Janet, Tony, Clara, the late Tony, Gabby, Glad, Christopher, Jude, Tizzle, Georgina, Taraji and Jamie.
A Requiem Mass will be held in his honor at Embakasi Garrison on Wednesday, 23rd July 2025 at 0900 Hrs.
The cortege will depart Mashujaa Funeral Home on Friday, 25th July 2025 for his final resting place in Atapar Village, Chakol, where the burial will take place on Saturday, 26th July 2025.
Family and friends are gathering daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his residence in Utawala Airways, Nairobi and at the family home in Chakol, opposite St. Monica Chakol Girls High School.
