The Chairperson, Board of Directors, Director General and members of staff, Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI), regret to announce the passing on of Justus Omondi Oulo, an ICT Officer, on Monday, 8th September 2025, 12:00 noon at Nairobi West Hospital after bravely battling illness.
He was the son of the late Joseph Oulo Onyango and Priscah Eudia Oulo.
Son-in- law of the late John Jura Hallowe Odhiambo and Helidah Okwako Hallowe. Brother of Eunice Wendo, the late Stephen Subi, Ismael Owiti, Karen Sande, the late Nancy Akoth, Lilian Akinyi, Francis Otieno, Belly Adhiambo Ndeda.
Husband of the late Margaret Adhiambo and Mourine Akinyi Otio. Father of Fred, Frank, Faith, Nicole, and Sharon.
He was a loving father, brother, uncle, friend, and a man of great wisdom whose kindness and strength touched many lives.
His passing on leaves a deep void in our hearts, but we take comfort in knowing he is now at peace and free from pain.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in KEMRI opposite Riara University for prayers and funeral preparations.
We welcome all relatives, friends, and well-wishers to join us in giving him a dignified farewell and celebrating the gift of his life.
Prayers will be held at St. Luke’s ACK Church, Kenyatta Market, Nairobi on Tuesday 23rd September 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
The Cortège departs from Nairobi on Wednesday, 24 th September 2025, followed by prayers at St. Peter’s Ramba Church, Rarieda Constituency, Siaya County on 24 th September 2025.
The burial will be at his Ramba home on Thursday, 25 th September 2025.
All our destiny rests with God, Our Creator and we pray to Him to rest the soul of the late Justus Omondi Oulo in eternal peace.
