It is with deep sorrow we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Julius Kariuki Mucebwi (Mwalimu) which occurred on 29th March 2026 after an illness bravely borne.
A devoted husband of Faith Muthoni Kariuki and beloved son of the late Mucebwi Mukuru and Betha Mucebwi.
Brother of the late Cicily Warui Zakayo, the late Tarasira Kagai, Rose Wacuka Mugo, the late Reuben Gutu, Mary Wanjiru Wambu and Edward Gachoki.
Father of Beth Nyawira, Gerald Muchira, the late Edith Wanjiru, Johnson Mwangi, Paul Kiragu and Jennifer Wangu.
Father-in-law of Zachariah Wachira, Hellen Waithera and Andrew Karimi.
A grandfather of Jeff Kariuki, Keylah Muthoni, Fleciah Njeri, Tiffany Faith Muthoni and Chloe Faith Wanja.
Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers at 5:00 pm at his residence in Ndunguri village, Mbeti sub-location, Kirinyaga County.
The cortege will leave Mt. Kenya Hospital Funeral Home in Kerugoya Town on Saturday 4th April 2026 and proceed for burial in his residence.
