It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Lay-Reader Julius Karanja Nyutu of ACK St Thomas Aquinas Parish – Tena, who went to be with the Lord on Thursday, 4th September 2025, following a tragic road accident.
He was the beloved son of Eliud Nyutu and Gladys Wanjiru Nyutu.
Son-in-law of the late Catherine Wangui Kahunyo.
He was the devoted husband of Caroline Wachuka, and a loving father of Wayne N. Karanja, Branson N. Karanja, Rowan G. Karanja and Kiera W. Karanja.
He was a cherished brother of the late Paul Mwangi, Irene Wambui, Esther Wanjiku, Daniel Muguro, and James Gachugu.
Brother in law of the late Vincent Ezekiel Kahunyo. He was also an uncle, cousin, and dear friend to many.
Meetings are being held daily at ACK St Thomas Aquinas Parish – Tena and at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi.
The memorial service will be held on Monday, 15th September 2025 at ACK St Thomas Aquinas Parish – Tena from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Kabati, on Tuesday, 16th September 2025 at 8:00am, for the funeral service at ACK St Matthews, Rurago Maragwa town from 10.00am and thereafter, burial at the family’s home Ichagaki Village Maragwa.
