It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing of Jane Waruguru Kabutha, which occurred on 26th March 2026, at Nairobi Hospital.
She was the wife of Njuguna C. Kabutha and mother of Njuguna, Ngondo, Ngarachu, and Sally.
Grandmother of Zoey Waruguru, Azriel Waruguru, Zuri Wairimu, Zita Njoki, and Zachary Kabutha.
Jane was the daughter of the late A. Ngondo Gecaga and the late Grace Njoki Ngondo.
She was sister of the late Bernard Mwangi, Becky Waigwe, John Gecaga, Peter Mareka, David Waithaka, and the late James Kerago.
A Requiem Mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Parklands, on Easter Monday, 6th April 2026, at 3.00pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Mukurwe Catholic Church, Gatanga, Murang’a, on 8th April 2026 at 10:30 am, followed by burial at her home.
Funeral arrangements and prayers will be held at Holy Family Basilica, St. John Paul II Hall, 7th floor Cardinal Otunga Annex, from Tuesday, 31st March, to Thursday, 2nd April, 2026, at 5:30 pm.
Prayers are being held every day at her Gatanga and Loresho homes.
