It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Jane Wambui Macharia (Mama Njeri), beloved wife of Mr. W. J. Macharia Kamau of Tigoni, which occurred on Friday, 17th October 2025 after a period of short illness.
She was a loving mother of Peninah Njeri Macharia, Njambi M. Macharia, Anne Wangui Macharia, Maureen Stella Macharia and Yvonne Caroll Macharia.
Doting grandmother of Sinaya Njeri.
Daughter of the late Mr. Sospeter Mbugua Kiburi and Mary Njambi Mbugua of Gathiga, Kiambu County, and daughter-in-law of the late Mr. John Kamau Macharia and the late Peninah Njeri Kamau of Ngecha.
Sister of Njuguna, the late Wambui, Kinyua, Njoki, Wanjiku, Wanjiru and Nduta.
Sister- in-law of Matere, Kimani, Wangui, Wanjiru and Njeri.
Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at the family home in Tigoni (opposite Echuka signboard) from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The cortege leaves AAR Hospital Kiambu Rd on Wednesday, 29th October 2025 at 8:00 a.m. for a funeral service at ACK All Saints Church Limuru starting at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at the family home in Tigoni.
