It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Jacinta Mugure Gichiru (Mama Wairimu) of Thika – Sec 9.
Daughter of the late Mwaura Wa Thiga and Wanjiku wa Mwaura of Kanyoni Village, Gatundu South. Wife of the late E.G Kimani of Thika Town.
Sister of the late Muthoni, the late Nyogatha, the late Carolina, the late Jeremina,Waithera wa Kibuika and the late Francis Ndungu. Mother of Wairimu, the late Zak, Wanjiku, Mike, Wangari, Muthoni Ngugi and Wangechi.
Mother in law of Sam Kiguru, Grace, and Rachel. Grandmother of Mwihaki, Gichiru, Mugures among others and great grandmother.
The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home Kabati for the funeral Mass to be held on Tuesday, 16th December 2025 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church Thika from 10:00 AM.
Thereafter, the body will proceed for burial at Ithangariri Village, Gatunyu, Gatanga Location.
Family and friends are meeting daily at her residence in section 9 Thika from 5.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements
